Airy, sparkling, and elegant silhouettes with floral ornaments and crystal patterns… Mystery, splendor, and charm in a huge variety were presented in Kiev at EXPO WFU18.
Over 40 Ukrainian manufacturers have demonstrated their 2019-2020 personal collections with a unique design reflecting the latest trends in world wedding fashion.
Collections of such brands as Iryna Kotapska, Victoria Sopranо, Eva Lendel, Ariamo, Armonia, Anna Sposa, Elena Morar, Elena Vasylkova, Katy Corso, Jasmin Empire, Lanesta, La Petra, Maxima, Tesoro, Trinity and many others were presented on the main podium.

If we talk about trends in the collections, it is worth noting that the wedding fashion is still inspired by the motifs of the 40-60s of the last century. We see a lot of glitter, sequins and beads, and handmade embroidered dresses. The trends favor their diversity: narrow mermaid silhouettes, plunges, slashes and cuts-out, 3-D lace, appliqués and embroidery on a transparent base. The dress is multi-layered – it means several layers of translucent materials and nets.
Cut-away shoulders or contrary to the sleeves that extend to the bottom from the elbow and completely cover the hand. Fringe plays an important role in the decoration; it is used not only along the bottom (and it is rather long) and the edges of the parts, but also partially along the princess seams.

The brand designer, Anne-Mariee, presents us modern classics. The collection is based on laconic forms, cascades of transparent frills, fringe, and patterns. Such elements create a gentle and very feminine image.

Anna Sposa
Classic and modern materials, narrow silhouettes, open and decorated backs, long sleeves, accentuated waist, all these are wedding dresses of Anna Sposa’s new collection.

La Petra
The collection amazes with luxury and refinement of the decor. Elegant silhouettes, skillful fit, fancy drapes, ruffles and scallops are feature of this collection. The layering of light fabrics created fashionable fluffy shapes.

Oksana Mukha
“Perfect” was the unanimous feedback of those who visited Oksana Mukha’s show. Form-fitting and fluffy parts are combined in different ways in models created by her. Richly decorated tiered dresses speak covertly that neither accessories nor makeup will dominate in the bridal image.

Exquisite silhouettes, excellent fit and the highest quality material texture. The main preferences in the collection are given to taffeta, organza that are embroidered in lace, flower appliqués and to geometric embroidery.

The collection is based on French chic – the models were presented in a feminine and romantic style. Wide belts and cut-away shoulders stole the show.

Iryna Kotapska
The bridal collection by Iryna Kotapska brand is the embodiment of various styles and forms – from narrow models to royal lush ones. The lightness and airiness of the silhouette is achieved through an unusual combination of materials and fabrics. White, silver and avori shades are used in this collection.

Armonia brand presented a very elegant, feminine and diverse collection: embroidered bodices, plunges, open backs, lots of glitter, appliqués and Mikado lace.

Lanesta wedding brand has showed its adorable and sophisticated collection of wedding dresses based on simplicity and brevity of fabrics, straight lines, and embroidered beaded fabrics.
